Smart Card Terms
Last updated: October 13, 2026
These terms cover physical Smart Cards and read alongside the Terms of Service and Subscription & Billing Terms.
1. What a Smart Card is
A LOYALR Smart Card is a physical card carrying an NFC chip and a printed QR code. Both point at a touchpoint inside your workspace, which you can repoint at any time. The card is a pointer — the value lives in your Smart Hub, not in the plastic.
2. Smart Cards are never required
Every LOYALR plan works fully with QR alone. Smart Cards are an optional add-on. No feature of your Smart Hub, destinations or analytics depends on owning a card.
3. Founding Edition cards
Founding Members receive a numbered Founding Edition Smart Card carrying their Founder reference (LR-FM-001 through LR-FM-100). Founder numbers are assigned in order of completed payment and are unique — once all 100 are claimed, no further Founding Edition cards are issued.
4. Availability and timing
Smart Card production is in progress and cards are not yet shipping. Founding Members can reserve their card during setup; we email you when production starts and confirm the shipping address before anything is dispatched. Any dates we mention are estimates, not guarantees.
5. Shipping
Cards ship to the address you confirm when production opens. You are responsible for giving us a correct, deliverable address. Where duties or import charges apply, they are yours to pay.
6. Ordering additional cards
Extra cards beyond those included with your plan are charged at the price shown when you order. Custom-printed cards are made to order and cannot be cancelled once production starts.
7. Damaged, faulty or lost cards
If a card arrives faulty or damaged, email support@getloyalr.com within 30 days of delivery with a photo and we'll replace it at no cost. Lost or damaged-in-use cards can be replaced at the current card price. If a card is lost, unlink its touchpoint from your dashboard immediately so it stops resolving.
8. Deactivating a card
You can unpublish or repoint any card's touchpoint at any time from your dashboard. A deactivated card stops resolving to your Hub within seconds; the physical card itself keeps no data.
9. If your subscription ends
The physical card remains yours. Its touchpoint stops resolving while your workspace is suspended or cancelled, and starts working again if you reactivate.
10. Acceptable use
Cards may not be resold, cloned, or used to point at content that breaches the Terms of Service — including illegal, deceptive or infringing destinations. We may deactivate a touchpoint that does.
11. Questions
Smart Card questions go to support@getloyalr.com.
